Never made an intro post, so i figured i'd take some time on it. I was introduced to the server by Honey and Caliban, and now I'm doing some work for the server but decided I'm more likely staying long-term for the community. You guys rock, no joke

I'm 23, studying sociology currently, with some education in video game design and art under my belt. I've previously had experience as a building co-manager of low income housing in New York, now living in Pennsylvania to just study, be busy, and get a degree.

I play a whole lot of TF2, I love learning about the whole development process of video games and the industry and such, and I'm currently addicted to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I've had experience as a forum moderator in the past, and a TF2 server operator for a year.

Welp, I've returned after a long break from Hat Fortress 2. Not sure how many of you actually remember me. Anyways, here's a bit about me for those who don't know me:

- I've been a member of this community for around a year and a half
- I enjoy listening to music. Usually, I'll be blasting music when I'm playing TF2

So my lone coworker, who is like 60, commented on one of the guys from Battleship being on Ellen on the office TV. She was asking if it was a new Transformers movie.

I told hr it wasn't but it does have a real similar feel and since Transformers and Battleship are both Hasbro properties, they probably used the same studio.

She then basically said she had never heard of Battleship.

So I explained to her it was a board game and gave her the basic description of game play.

Alright, so I'm all in the Saraya server, right?

Then Honey tells everyone that they'll get kicked if they're AFK. She then goes AFK herself. Seeing the irony in the situation, I said "You ban people for going AFK then go AFK yourself". Of course, I only meant it as a joke, but Honey took it rashly and gave me a warning of something along the lines of "Don't like it, leave, only warning", this is ok considering he probably didn't see it as a joke. I decided to cool it so Honey wouldn't get pissed.

Alright, flash forward about 5 minutes. I set up a sentry outside spawn and sit in spawn with AFK honey, quite simply punching my AFK teammate (I'm completely quiet, mind you). Dunno what happens next, but then she's even angrier at me and she's all "I'm ready to ban you" or something, so I'm all "For what? I didn't even say anything!" So then Honey's all "You were being a troll" and I'm like "whaaa?" So then everyone's like "back off, Honey'll ban you!" Like its standard behavior! Like this kinda thing happens regularly apparently!

I honestly didn't come to the Rage server expecting such passive-aggressive behavior from people who are supposed to be the ROLE MODELS everyone else follows.

Oh, and don't take my rant as an attack like I know you might. Simply as criticism.

I've been playing on the Rage server for about a year now, but I haven't actually introduced myself in all that time. I thought I would change that.

As you may surmise from the name tag, I travel with a small pack of vagabonds known as the Lore-Masters. We've been playing various games together for at least five years, generally causing incalculable mayhem wherever we go. Before we discovered Rage, we were in the process of setting up our own TF2 server because we found the available TF2 servers lacking in, shall we say, fun factor. Since that initial discovery, however, the Rage server has become our de facto clan home.

As for me personally, I am generally pretty quiet. I live in San Jose, California, and I work as an R&D software engineer for eBay. I play TF2 with my brethren to relax and blow off steam.

I am probably going to change my steam name (again) but since I've been most well known as Crow on the rage saraya servers I guess I'll keep it as my forum name until I get fully into another name and learn to change it on here,

It's my birthday and I'll be out to Philly to see my sister and her family which includes my chubby cute new nephew! I'll be turning 21, and with the privilege of legal alcohol consumption I may drink more, I may drink less, but overall I'm starting to feel age, I know I should be happy and feel more like an adult, but I still feel and act like a child all the time, for chissakes i play videogames all day.

As I get older each day I realize that it's all up to you, you can do almost anything you want to do, and if causing a terrible bloody massacre is your goal it can surely be done! It may be easier than being president or a whole slew of other goals, but it's still very destructive to everything, and it gets you fame, which is something many dream of acquiring. Don't take this the wrong way I'm not endorsing violence for fame, even though it works well for movies and boxing fights. I just need to get it into my head that I can do whatever the hell I want to, and now that I'm 21 *****'s about to get real. i need to get this fafsa ***** done but i cant remember my pin and the phone calls go on and on and on.

Maybe I wont play tf2 as much (phat chance biatch!) But I think I really need to look into a career or something worthwhile to do with my life. I'll never be good or hardwired enough to play tf2 competitively or any other video game for that matter, although I admit I'm being close to a Capcom Vs SNK 1 master.

Cheap Hats with Alt Accounts?

Ok, this is totally a theory and I may have posted it before (I think I may have posted something like this on the SPUF at least).

Back when free to play came around, I started creating some extra idle accounts. I noticed a trend too.

Every single account I legitimized, would get a hat drop within a week or two. Every single one. Hats are "random" drops but I almost never get a hat drop any other time even when I was really diligent on the idling rotation. It happened on like 3 or 4 accounts.

Recently, I went and legitimized another account, this would be like the 6th I think, and sure enough, two weeks later, I got a hat drop.

Almost feels like it's intentional in order to help give "new players" a good feeling after making their accounts full accounts.

Conspiracy theory? Or legitimate point?

Player CrackHead sprayed a picture of a person Jacking Off. I took screen shot, if you need to see it. Please let me know as soon as I can delete it.

Called for admin but don't think that the Rage players that were on were Admins. After a few calls the pic was replaced and could no longer see Spray Name.
